The equipment of prison cells represents a challenge not to be underestimated for the various trades. In order to guarantee reliable personal protection and at the same time not to give vandalism a chance, fire protection should remain hidden. The sensitive TITANUS® air sampling smoke detectors not only reliably detect any smoke that occurs, so that the fire hazard is averted. In addition, they are virtually invisible and low-noise. The localisation of the fire location via the patented ROOM∙IDENT function ensures cost-effective individual room monitoring of up to five rooms with only one detection unit.
Fire detection in vaults
Aspirating Smoke Detectors of the TITANUS® family enable a deceptive alarm-proof and at the same time earliest possible fire detection. For safety-relevant areas, however, they offer another decisive advantage: the detection units can be installed outside the monitored area. They no longer have to be entered for inspections and service work.
Fire detection in clean rooms
Forced air flow and high air velocities in clean rooms: a challenge for reliable fire detection. Active air sampling with TITANUS® aspirating smoke detectors nevertheless allows reliable smoke detection. The room air in the production area remains contamination-free by sampling the room exhaust air. The maintenance and service personnel of the aspirating smoke detectors do not have to enter the clean room. Despite the extreme dilution of fire smoke in clean rooms, TITANUS® air samplin smoke detectors reliably detect smoke because they are up to 2,000 times more sensitive than point-type smoke detectors.
